Dayton & Good Co.

Dayton & Good Company is a singer-songwriter folk band from west Texas, and I had the pleasure of designing their album cover for their single, “A Simple Sound”. Dayton approached me about wanting their audience to feel a sense of adventure, new beginnings, and home when listening to the band’s music, and he was inspired by descriptive nature imagery when writing this particular song. With intentionality to create a cover that feels as homey as the band, I used a vintage postcard from the Sandia mountain range - which inspired some lyrics in the song - along with warm and rustic illustration and typography to wrap the song up into one cohesive cover.
